It’s been one of those weeks where I feel like I’ve been constantly behind the eight ball. Exhaustion set in around Wednesday, and I succumbed to a weird virus, resulting in a sick day. Thus, aside from hosting one of my best friends in Sydney, this weekend’s agenda is to keep a low profile and indulge in some ‘me’ time. One of my favourite ways to do this is to catch up on all the blogs and articles I’ve missed through the week – I love link round ups when other bloggers put them together; its fun to see what everyone else is reading and I love the challenge of finding unique links for you guys.
So on that note, my faves this week.
1// When you find out someone you know has a new significant other, one of the first questions you’re likely to ask is ‘how did you meet?’. I loved this article on Elle Australia featuring Instagram account @thewaywemet. Amazing how many of them were chance encounters (or conversely, through Tinder!)
2// Victoria’s post on alone time came at a really serendipitous time for me. That balance between spending time recharging by your lonesome, and building a social life is ever so elusive, so I was glad to see that someone else gets it.
3// Too many things to buy, too little money and too little time. Loving this Shona Joy midi cocktail dress, and these Alexander Wang boots (the rose gold detail says it all), and a Saint James striped tee – from an impossibly cute boutique in a tiny town near my hometown.
4// I’m also obsessed with getting a yellow rain jacket. This Barbour one is my favourite, but tracking it down in my size it proving impossible.
Popular around here this week?
Hope you’re having a great weekend. x
