It seems recently I’ve been under the weather more often than not. I’ve been on the go a lot lately and travelling a bit too, which always takes it out of me. Post exams, I came down with one hell of a cold and haven’t managed to shake it yet. Always the way – our immune systems seem to crash right when the fun can begin. Hence, this week is all about looking after myself – I’ll be at home on the couch, sleeping, catching up on TV and reading, drinking a lot of tea and generally being lazy. Considering that the start of semester is nearly upon us, and it’s high winter, I’m resolutely refusing to feel guilty about not doing anything. I’ve got Gossip Girl for old school comfort and style inspo, Orange is the New Black season 2 for some of the best medicine, and actual oranges for Vitamin C. I’ve also loaded up my iPad with issues from the archives of my new favourite mag, Renegade Collective for some can’t be beaten motivation. I’m keeping my chin up (except for when I’m napping) and looking forward to getting back to it.
